Steps we are taking to address COVID-19

There is no greater value than the health and well-being of our clients and team members. As we continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) very closely, we wanted to share actions that US Wellness is taking to respond to our clients’, our healthcare providers’ and our employees’ needs during this time. In uncertain times like these, we must be there for one another. The effects will be far reaching. In response, we must all think and act sensibly and empathetically. By following the latest trusted guidance and leading with our hearts, we will get through this together.

Practicing universal precautions at our biometric screening events has always been a top priority. However, as the situation continues to evolve, we have taken additional actions to ensure our entire organization is here to serve you in the safest way possible. All team members have been trained to uphold universal precautions and we are closely following the latest guidance from the CDC, State and local governments, and public health agencies. We have enhanced our existing safety measures to also include:

  • Team members who have traveled to areas significantly impacted by COVID-19 are being asked to work remotely, where applicable, or not come into our workplace or yours.
  • Disinfecting high touch areas at screening events and screening workstations. US Wellness has increased our inventory of Sani-Cloth germicidal disposable wipes to our team members working in the field to help protect and clean common areas where screenings occur.
  • Ensure that our team members have the information they need to stay healthy or stay at home if they need to.
  • Should our clients choose to reschedule an event in the short term, we will do everything possible to mitigate costs to hold the event at a later time and work with you to ensure successful transition and communication to those that may be impacted by the change.
